Last weekend, Abby and I got to go one of Portland’s most beautiful places, Cathedral Park, to hear some great performances at the Cathedral Park Jazz Festival.  We particularly enjoyed a set by Karrin Allyson, where she shared the stage with a couple other amazing singers, including Nancy King.  It was a great night.  (We were particularly happy when we thought about all the times we had gone to outdoor performances in Houston and sweat our butts off!  It was nice to be in really beautiful weather in July!)
