1. Today was the performance of Peter Rabbit, The Opera by students at Frost Elementary School.  Hannah and I were so proud of our students.  They learned a lot about opera and how to write music and perform it.

2. Working on music and getting ready for a performance with the Houston Bach Society on Sunday at 6pm.  I’m singing a couple cool arias and a duet.  It should be a great concert.  More info here.

3. This is my last week of teaching my high school students for the school year.  They are all singing in a recital next Thursday at 7pm.

4. I posted new pictures and video from performances of The Daughter of the Regiment with Houston Grand Opera.  You can see the pictures here.

5. Abby and I are going to spend Memorial Day on the beach in Galveston.  Woot!

6. I’m doing lots more composing these days.  I’ve got some really cool stuff I can’t wait to share with you.

7. Opera Vista, of which I am one of the founding members, is presenting its second Vista Festival this weekend.  You should check it out - I hear it’s going to be really great!
